Q: How do I know if anyone has sent me a donation?
A: Whenever you receive a donation, you will get an email from Paypal. This will let you know if anyone has donated to you. You can also check your PayPal account periodically for donations because as we all know, sometimes emails get lost through filters or mixed in with your other emails.
Q: Why do I seem to be receiving spam emails from people that I'm not sure are legit?
A: iBeggar.com will never give out your email address. Unfortunately, Paypal displays your identification on their payment page. When people visit iBeggar.com, and click on your donation button, your name OR email address will show up on the top of Paypal's donation page. If you want to display a name INSTEAD OF your email address, you can change settings in your Paypal account under Profile > Business information. Once you've done this, spammers will not be able to find your email address.
